ok first let me say hello to everyone second let me apologizes if i put this in the wrong place anyway i just got zbrush not to long ago and i am having a problem using it sculpting a model out i am working on for a project and i was wondering is it cuz i have a mouse instead of some kind of tablet thank you to anyone that can help me
How can we tell if your problem exists because you are using a mouse instead of a tablet if you don’t tell us what the problem is? :lol:
sorry but ok its just the fact that i cant seem to be able to model right like nothing seems to be coming out right so i was just wondering could it be the fact that i am using a mouse because every tutorial i find talks about the tablet or do i just need to work harder is it possible to create a great model with a mouse is basically where i am going at with this or do i indeed need a tablet or some other application in fact to accomplish a acceptable design sorry for the confusion
I would suggest that you get a tablet if you are going to be using ZBrush. You can still sculpt with a mouse and a lot of people get by with just that, but once you get down to the fine details, you can’t beat a pen and tablet. The nice thing about a tablet is the pressure sensitivity which will allow you to vary your stroke within a single stroke or multiple strokes. It doesn’t have to be a really expensive tablet, just about any tablet will do but the better ones do have some nice features like 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity.
ok thanks i guess i just have to work harder at it for now i do not have money for a tablet right now but once i finish my project which is a game i am working on in unity and zbrush as well as 3d studio max i should have some money in my pocket to get one its been my dream to be a game designer for a long time never went to school for it though learning on my own really
this is the one i want its called a cintiq i believe but it costs 2,000$ the one i want anyway i like these cuz you can see what you are working on right on its screen rather then working on it and looking at the screen as i seen some tablets work like that i am more comfortable doing it that way do you know of a much cheaper one i can get that has the same feature thanks again for your help

I have problems in making Zspheres. I’m trying the no-more-wine tutorial and, the head of the creature gets a triangle shape instead of a rounded one. My problem is shown in the pictures bellow.
