Hi , i'm beggining here.

i learned most of the classroom tutorials

but i would like to learn a new thing that there was not said.

I will import a model from a game, Divide it a lot, and first i get is some weird curve forms on the last part of each group.

What i would like to do is . make my own texture, and normalmap texture, and if i edit the model so much probably the “NATIVE MODEL” will be modified. Thats why i would like to know if theres some way to LOCK the native LOW POLY MODEL, and even if u touch so much the highpoly model, never make changes in the low poly model. because i want to export this textures and i dont wanna get problems of UV… So if theres a way to lock the place of the polys of the native (low polymodel). i would appreciate it. probably i upload video to show the Curve thing that i get when i divide model.

Before dividing the model press Tool>Morph Target>Store MT. After you’ve divided it you can then return to level 1 at any time and use Tool>Morph Target>Switch to restore the original mesh. Be sure to switch again if you’re going to return to the higher levels, though, because any change made at one level affects all other levels when you change between them.
