Hi I have a question

I am working on a project and I didn’t know which part of the forum to put this question in so sorry if its in the wrong area.

I want to color a character that I am working on right now and I am using many different colors but instead of sampling from another part of the character I was wondering if there was a way I can place it in a palette like you can in Photoshop or Maya so I can reuse the same colors instead of having to guess the same RGB values.
I have tried to look for solutions online and since I don’t have enough time to work on all the parts of the model at 1 time so I would like to keep a working color setup for the tool together.

If anyone can help than much would be appreciated.

Check out the Canvas Color Palette plugin. I have used this in ZBrush 4.0. You can download it and try it in 4R2.

[edit] I just tried this in ZBrush 4R2 and works fine.

If you happen to be on a mac, there is a button under the color menu, that says system palette. You can make a custom interface and put that button somewhere on a shelf so that it is handy. In the mac system palette, there is a section for creating and storing specific palettes of colors. This is what I do on a project.
