To upload an image to ZBC:
When you post a message look under the text entry box. You’ll see a button to “Upload Image or File”. Click that and follow the instructions. If you’re using Internet Explorer, you’ll be able to click a link after the image has been uploaded, which will place the image code into your text box. All you’ll see is something like: {att=123456}image name.jpg{/att} except that the { and } will actually be [ and ]
If you’re using Firefox, then the insertion link won’t work. In that case, after you’ve uploaded the image you will see its information appear below the text box. Copy the image code into your post where you want the image to appear.
Only the first image in a post will create a thumbnail in the bottom row. For courtesy’s sake, please wait until your previous image has dropped off the bottom row before you upload into a new post. You can, however, edit your previous post if you want to show an update before your previous image has dropped off the bottom row.
As for the Featured Gallery, you can’t submit for it. Featured threads are selected by the Pixologic staff based on a variety of factors. We choose images that are great examples of ZBrush use or of interest to the overall community, and are also different from anything else that’s currently in the top row.
