ZBrush Usage Questions

I’m new to this community, and only recently got Zbrush. And I’m very excited, already getting the hang of certain things :smiley:
Love working in 3D, tried 2D art, like you see on Deviant art. But I just can’t get anything right on (digital) paper.
But now I’m having some troubles, and I don’t know sure where to put these questions of mine.
So if this is the wrong spot, please tell where it should be, or move it.:o

Question 1:
I’m kinda used from google sketchup that the horizon stays leveled, now I’m spending a lot of time manoevering my model around in so I can get it it the right angle. Is there a way/setting so the horizon of my models stays the horizon?
So bottom stay bottom, and up stays up?

Question 2:
And where can I find the hotkey interface? I wana change/create some hotkeys (yeah already) :cool:.
Like the move and zoom model: now eveytime I wana move or zoom, I need to click on those buttons manually.
Wana know or create those hotkeys.

turn xyz of and turn on Y on your side bar.

I recommend looking at the Zclassroom for most of the questions you have.

Thank you for your time, and awsering a stupid and simple question of me.
I have been looking it over, and pressing. but realizing that’s the one I needed.

But question 2 is still not awnsered.
How do I change keybindings or hotkeys?
Like the move is now [W] I wana change that to [M] (only as example).
And no, Zclassroom only tells you how the change the Layout of the UI. Not how to change the key bindings or hotkeys.

not sure what you mean by up staying up and such but maybe you’re looking for the floor. there is a button a little bit above the move/rotate/scale buttons that says “floor”. clicking that will turn on the floor grid and you’ll be able to tell up from down.
