Hi, I have a big problem, when I use the UV master to unwrap the model and when copy the UVs back to the original model, all the crease that I have on the mesh gets erased. i need help thanks. this is the first time that i have this kind of problem
i can’t tell you why but if you want a work around maybe this can help.
make another duplicate of the original that has the creases, then paste the UVs into one of them, you lose the creases…
then project the creases back onto the mesh from the other duplicate that has them.
in fact ,even if you didn’t work on clone , you flatten and unflatten the mesh , all crease edge will disappear…
really? is there a way to keep the creases?
i tried . if you don’t work on clone, and don’t touch the “flatten” key (use morph UV instead),all crease edge keep alive.and i fonud that i can use Frame Mesh to put curve on the crease edge. however, i didn’t found a way to convert curve to crease edge…
but when you unwrap a mesh with multiple subdivisions, you have to use clone, otherwise, it wont let you unwrap!
if your mesh has subdivision ,you only need to lower the level to 1.then you can unwrap it.
