Help with UV maps

Hi guys, I’m posting a thread here because I have a problem with uv maps in zbrush. So I hope that someone can help me. My problem is that whenever I try to import uv maps in zbrush. And then I try to get new from polypaint into the imported uv map and then clone texture. I get this low resolution texture that looks well… pixelated. I don’t know why I get this, when I want high resolution from the high subdivision. I will attach the uv image with the error I get. I don’t know f I’m doing it correctly.

I’m going to assume 2 things.

  1. You’re unwrapping in Max.
  2. You’re not using goZ to transfer back and forth.

If I am correct on both of these assumptions, use goZ and it will fix all your problems.

Yes I forgot to unwrapped it in 3d max. So export it in goz then? I haven’t thought about it. Not sure ho that would work but I’ll give it try. Thanks for the suggestion.
