Help with topology in 3ds max!!

Hey, I have a problem with exported model from Zbrush into 3ds max. I wanted to do topology, but when I click on start build button, new window pops on with a message ,Use a pick button to pick an object to draw onโ€™โ€™.

What does it mean and how can I get out of there? :slight_smile:

And how can I low my polygon numbers before I even go into max or maya???

This probably isnโ€™t the right place to ask about the Max retopo tools but to answer your last question you could try the new QRemesher feature in ZBrush 4r4. Very easy and effective for most work of this nature.

Have a look on the Pixologic site for video tutorials on the subject.
