Hi guys !
i was sculpting a head for a project when i found myself in this issue so any one can help plz !
- i started my work with a prety lowRez model and cheked On the SUV in Zbrush
-after the sculpt was almost done i’ve exported my level 2 geometry and generated the disp map with “displacement exporter” …until here evthing is Ok
-the trouble comes when i attempted to assign my disp map in Maya/Mentalray…: the Disp comes with a sort of UnInterpolated geometry ! even with soften normal or mesh smooth ive got the same result
-but when i converted the geom to SubD everything works Ok even when converted back to poly evrythng works fine … - i’ve noticed that Uv’s interpolations when smoothed in maya was not the same as my level 2 exported form Z
-the bigger problem is that i need to stand in lowRez model to finish the rig an unfortunally my RenderEngine dont support Maya SubD:mad:
