help with poly projection

hey guys i really need your help with this coz i have no idea whats going on

the rest of the mesh is fine but my normal map throws this result up. all of avenues of alteration make it worse

It would really help if you provided basic information such as which version of ZBrush you’re using and what steps you’ve followed to create your map.

Ive created the mesh in 3ds max 2010. I have then exported it zbrush 3.5r2 where i did the detailing . Ive then taken both the high and low poly mesh back into 3ds max, unwrapped it, created a normal, diffuse and specular map and then projected them back onto the low poly mesh using render to texture
