hi everyone, I have a small question, and I wonder if someone can help me in this.
I have medeled in maya a basic mesh, exported as an OBJ, used Zbrush for detailing, then back to maya for UVs, back to Zbrush and everything is just going great. My question is this I know how to export the normal map, but I an painting the texture in the model, how can I export this??? I have seen some help with this but the don´t use UVs. Anyway thanks for helping!!
I assume you’ve been using PolyPaint? If so, and you’ve now assigned UV’s to your model, then it’s as simple as assigning a blank texture to the model and going to the highest level. There, press Tool
Texture
Col>Txr. This transfers the PolyPaint to your assigned texture, ready for export.
