Help with Lighting

I’ve been sifting through threads and tutorials and I can’t find a whole lot to help me, but basically what’s going on is that when I go to set the lights for my render, Sun Light is the only one that will work. When I go to use the other lights, the material light preview disappears, I can’t position the light, and when I render my sculpt goes completely black.

Im not sure if it’s something really simple that Im missing here, or if it’s something I did during the sculpting process that caused the problem. Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated.

First, make sure you’re not using a MatCap material. Because those have baked-in lighting, they don’t respond to scene lighting.

Second, the other light types are supplemental lights and have a limited radius. Don’t replace your Sun light with other light types. Keep the Sun, but then turn on other lights to use for enhanced lighting.
