Im New To Zbrush And Im learning it. My Question Is What Is Pivot?
That is the point around which your model rotates when you tumble it. It’s also the point that all symmetry and deformations are calculated from.
By default, the pivot point is at the geometric center of the model. However, there may be times when you want to change this temporarily. The S.Pivot button lets you set the pivot point to the geometric center of the visible mesh. (So hide part of the mesh and then press this button to temporarily change the pivot point.) C.Pivot clears the point and sets it back to the geometric center of the whole model.
One place where this might be handy would be if you’re working on a model’s hands. You could hide all but one hand and set the pivot point. Then unhide the model and start sculpting the hand. Doing this lets you zoom in close to the hand and not have it go flying off screen every time you rotate the mesh a little bit.
Another very useful feature is Transform>Local. With this turned on, ZBrush will use the most recently edited point to rotate your model around. It’s very handy when zoomed in close to your mesh.
Thanx For The Info. Btw Where i find Point Marker In Zbrush 3 ?
