Any kind of booleans will result in a almost unusable mesh (for sculpting), made out of triangles mainly… You have to do the topology correctly using another methods or solve all the triangles into squares (edge looping, cutting faces, deleting edges…)

Yeap… although pro booleans in max 9 are actually pretty good…still don’t advise using them however.
Why can’t you just stick a box into that cylinder? Why does it need to be booleaned?
