As I was sculpting and as I rotated my model I noticed that parts of it would disappear, it looked like a clipping plane problem. Does any one know why this happens, is it because the model is to big (though I’m sure its not)
Have I accidentally shortened my camera clipping plane ?
Are you working against a background reference image? If so, the model was drawn with its center point at the level of the clipping plane.
In this case, press T to exit Edit mode. Now press W or R to activate the gyro in a mode that will allow you to change the model’s depth. Now just click someplace outside the gyro and drag down. This will move the model closer to the camera, out of the back plane. When you’re happy with it’s position, press T to return to Edit mode. (Alternatively, before drawing the model on the canvas set Picker>Z to -1000. This tells ZBrush to draw the next 3D object 1,000 pixols closer to the camera than the pixol that you start your brush stroke on, putting it far enough in front of the plane that you can simply enter Edit mode and go to town.)
