Help please: displacement tiling problem

Hi, I have a little problem and hope that someone can help me.

What I tried to do is to apply a tileable alpha tiled onto a model. e.g. something like my chain mail alpha: [![chain_mail_depth.jpg|512x512](upload://d9hkXyHKrWMqfypnJr972O9W9FE.jpeg)]![ZBrush_chain_mail_test_2.jpg|512x512](upload://jFL4X4suPesMtODZtJN04Zzwqnr.jpeg) Do I overlook something or is this a bug respectively a limitation? If it is, please Pixlogic, fix it!

the only workaround you can do for awhile is use Photoshop to tile your alpha.

Unfortunately this bug/problem/limitation still exist.

Can anyone tell me what for the Hrepeat and Vrepeat settings in Tool/UV Map are at all then?
