Hello.

I suggest first finding a good resolution picture. Make it black and white and bump up the contrast in photoshop (or a similar program). In Zbrush project it on to whatever surface shape you need as a mask (drag rect, or importing it to an alpha slot and then choosing the tool-masking-from alpha feature). Once you have the object with a mask of Angie, invert that mask, go to deformation tab - and infat a bit (1-2) then smooth (as needed), repeat the drill for as many times needed. Do not enter a large number in inflat and a lartg to smooth to speed up the drill, cause it won’t give same results.

Oh i forgot, and some offsetting in the right direction is okay, also in the deformation presets.

Hope some of it helps

BTW when I do it, I model out the portrait and then take the depth information of it, and use that for the mask in the procedure. Gives great results.

Cheers

First of all thanks for reply…

‘‘bump up the contrast in photoshop’’ i really suck on 2d dont know how to clean the image or bumping :confused: I think u mean making more white the higher part? But i will try to learn if i have to …(if u know any tutorials for it if would be lovely)

The second option; Modeling the portrait is more easy for me but;
–then take the depth information of it, and use that for the mask in the procedure–
that i didnt understand :slight_smile:

Anyone can help?

The method mentioned by cherubrock was the appropriate i think…you can see many tutorials on hove get a alpha from an image,its really easy…just search in google…
