[Help] Merging Geometry Seamlessly - Zbrush + Maya

Hello,

I started my sculpt in Zbrush and created mainly the torso. To save time I decided to rip off the arms/legs of a model I created before in Maya and add them on to my sculpt in Zbrush. I’m having issues trying to connect the joining edges, I’m being left with seams that I can’t smoothen/sculpt on properly. I think the difference in poly counts on the geometry is also making it harder to join. Any suggestions on how I can merge them properly?

Note: One thing that did kind of help was making the object in to a dynamesh, but to keep the details I have to subdivide a lot and then make it in to a dynamesh, which then becomes harder to sculpt on.

In these pictures I took the body to Maya and cleaned up the edges of her left leg and connected some polygons together. In the second picture, I subdivided the body and you can see how the parts aren’t connected properly (probably because of the difference in polys). How can I connect them smoothly?
