Help me understand this UV Layout

Ok, im trying to wrap my head around the 2 different options for UV layout.

  1. UV master. Im getting bad results when trying to unwrap a cylinder with the caps cut off.

  2. UV MAP. Way better results, tight seams etc. What is the difference? in the UV MAP options, I only press Morph UV, I dont go into the " CREATE " features. . .

You have done 2 diferent UV layouts for this reason they look different

In the first case you did with UV master
In the second case you didn´t create any new UV layout because you are using the own cylinder UV´s. The cylinder comes with that UV layout. So inside Zbrush all primitives converted to 3DMesh has Perfect square UVs premade
