Help me, please please please

Hello all

I’ve put stuff up on the forums every now and then since release 3, some I personally don’t believe are very good.

Before I was always able to access another 3d to make a base mesh and play around with it in zbrush. Now I don’t have that luxury anymore I’m trying to create something from scratch within zbrush.

I’ve watched pretty much 60 videos on how to use zbrush and still I cannot seem to get anywhere near the results that I see on the forums (even from people who are first time users). My past experience with modelling has been a very old version of Maya and Max as well as various other 3D engineering CAD programs.

Could anyone point in the direction of a tutorial that shows how to create a really easy human form or human head. (the skull tutorial is appalling as a tutorial, why download the image plane, should be shown how to create one) I have found this from youtube btw  :).

I love animation and 3d graphics with a passion and I would love to get my head around zbrush but the interface and interaction with the model is such a alien concept (moving the model around, resizing, rotating etc)

Please please someone rescue me from banging my head into this wall.

I did a quick google search and found this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c0FgP5YNeg . Many of the responses indicated it was helpful for them.

In addition I found this by Scott Eaton. http://www.bing.com/search?q=Zbrush+4+basic+human+form+tutorial&qs=n&sk=&first=41&FORM=PERE3

I’m also new to Zbrush (4 weeks) I felt I had a similar problem. I ordered and just recieved my copy of Zbrush Digital Sculpting Human Anatomy. I haven’t yet begun to do the initial basic for yet but it appears to be a phemonenal book.

Good Luck

Well zbrush comes preloaded with the demo soldier, super average man, and a demo head for you to start sculpting on. There are also several free bases meshes laying about the forums here and you can google more. If you’re looking for a cheep 3d software silo is 150 bucks. There are also various free tutorials you can find by just using google.
