I need some help trying to figure out if some keyboards are better than others. Often while I’m sculpting and holding down a key or a combination of keys, my computer acts like I let go of the key while it is still depressed. Prime example is the alt key for Zsub and in the middle of sculpting the model zooms out or in. Is this just ZBrush getting wonky or would something like a gaming keyboard be more robust for ZBrush hotkeys?

sounds more like a windows thing to me. does restarting zbrush fix it?
I’ve been dealing with this for a while, unfortunately restarting ZBrush doesn’t help.
unplug your keyboard and see if that fixes it. Could be a driver problem with your system as well.

If your on windows 7, check under control panel, ease of access, make keyboard easier to use, check to see if you have filter keys turned on.
Below that also check your keyboard properties and check your repeat delay and repeat rate. I have filter keys off, a fast repeat rate, and one notch next to the slowest repeat delay and i have no problems.
