Hi,

I’m not sure why you can’t see the fliter effects as you make them. The BPR render should only disappear when you click on the background or otherwise move the model. However, there are a couple of things you could try:

  1. Move the Render palette to the right or left tray of the interface so that it stays open and you can adjust the BPR filters without having your cursor over the render. You can read about moiving the palettes here:
    http://docs.pixologic.com/getting-started/finding-your-way-around/

  2. After doing a BPR render press the Bake button in the Layer palette. This will ‘fix’ the current render so you can adjust the filters. However note that your model will no longer be in Edit mode so if it is important that you keep the same position for future renders store it using the TimeLine. Your basic method would be:

  3. Press Movie>Timeline>Show to show the TimeLine.

  4. Position the model how you want.

  5. Click anywhere on the TimeLine to store the position. An orange dot will show the position is stored.

  6. Render using BPR.

  7. Bake the render (Layer>Bake).

  8. Adjust the BPR Filters.

To create a new BPR render:
7. Clear the canvas (Ctrl+N)
8. Draw the model on the canvas and click T to enter Edit mode.
9. Click the LEFT arrow followed by the RIGHT arrow keys to reselect the stored poistion on the TimeLine. You model will be returned to the stored position.
10. Render in BPR. Any filters will be applied.

You can read about the TimeLine here:
