Help for a Newbie please- C4d Zbrush
Zbrush is great but what a learning curve! This has probably happened to everyone.

I want to do two very simple things but its all going wrong.

I make a sphere in zbrush - apply polypaint - I apply a uv map to it (packed tiles usually as non of the others seem to work) then export to cinema4d as an OBJ (riptide Pluggin)

The result is that the uv coordinates seem all messed and all is wrong.

Similarly a sphere made in C4d (using bodypaint wizard for the uv) is exported as a obj and imported to zbrush and all the uv coordinates are wrong again.

I thought obj’s could be loaded across programs if the uv’s are there.

If anyone know where I can find simple instructions on loading and exporting between C4d - zbrush don’t hold back. It’s driving me mad!!

After 2 days trying to figure it out - it’s the flip UV vertically button.

If this is not checked on riptide (C4D) in both export and import then all goes wrong.

Also I used import at the bottom of the tools menu. This seemed to make a difference.
