HELP! export textures from ZBrush to 3Ds Max.

Hey everyone…

I’ve been looking for toturials on this for 6 hours now…
My texturing is done in ZBrush, now I need my 3D model (WITH TEXTURES)
in 3Ds max for animation…

How is it possible to get the texture to 3Ds Max!?
I’ve tried different things but nothing seems to work…

Some help would be GREAT!!!

Does your model have UVs? Uvs are necessary.

It does not have UV’s…

Is there anyway to make them now?
Or do I have to restart?

you can certainly make them.

you need to export out level 1, unwrap that, and import that back in while level 1 is active again.

or you can have zbrush make automatic UV’s for you.
tool>texture>AUV or GUV (if you’re on a mac it’s different though…not much from what I hear though.)

Anyway, AUV or GUV tiles can’t be read by a human (or edited in photoshop or any other image editing software).

Once you have UV’s
go to your highest SubD
tool>texture>“col>txr” (again different on the mac)
then export out the texture.
