Help! Error Message When Running Zbrush.Exe, when Installing 3.5

Hi, has anyone experienced this yet?

  1. I noticed that the Icon Zbrush.exe is looks like a desktop Icon and not the same as 3.0, or 3.1 setup icons and
selected it I get a Security warning: “Unknown Publisher” window
    so I selected ‘run’
  2. An error message “Zbrush Executable”, Zbrush Executable has encountered
a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.???

I tried the fix file also located in the
“Troubleshoot help folder”, and also the run as Administrator option and nothing worked and also restarted several times with no success. Is it possilble while downloading the file from Cleverbridge it got corrupt? Can I download it again ? Ideas?

I am currently running a dual P3 1ghz system on Win XP Pro, with a little over a gig of ram, and could this be the problem as far as 3.5 not supporting it? If it doesn’t support it then what are my options? I do have a new Mac
Octocore system and is it possible to switch over and upload a mac version instead?

Thank you for your help, Tim C.

are you running Vista or 7?

if you are you need to right click on the icon and go into the properties. then tell the application to run as Administrator.

hope that helps.
