Help applying polypaint textures in 3dsmax

Hello!

First post here, anyway im pretty new to zbrush and am currently experiancing a problem applying a texture to a model. Basically when i apply the texture it appears like the image attached to this thread. This problem only occurs with the diffuse / texture map, the displacement normal and all the other maps work fine!

Suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appriciated!!

Odds are that there’s a problem with the UV’s. When you export your model from Max you probably need to reset the xForm first. Otherwise, the UV’s often export with only half polygons.

I belive its a issue regarding exporting the texture from zbrush back into max, the, like i said the displacment and normal maps i created in zbrush worked fine when i took them back over its just the texture itself which is been crazy like in the image :frowning:

Did a quick test with a old version, resetting the xform dosent make a difference.

In the end i used my existing UV map…

This is how he looks with just a couple of lights in a max scene :wink:
