Hi! I have create a haircut using fibermesh. I used fibermesh>export curves to export the hair line . but when i import this obj file into maya2012, nothing to show, and there are nothing in outliner. Can somebody tell me how to fix it? Thanks a lot!
A very half-baked implementation of a feature it seems. No luck in Max either - I can see the curves listed in the importer, but when I click import I get an error message saying that there’s nothing to import.
For Max there’s a 3rd party script that can turn a Zbrush hair mesh into curves though.
Very strange that Pixologic implements things that will not work with other major applications, like with the vector displacements…
