Hellp needed with Meats' Wire Style. I get a reverse mask :(

Hello.

I tried to post this question at the question forum, but the post did not appear.

I am using Zbrush demo for Windows.

I am at a complete loss as to what I am doing wrong, because when I clidk the HidePt button in ‘Masking’, all the faces that are white get hidden, not the faces that are black.

Would it be possible for some kind soul to create a little script for me, so that I can see precisely what I am doing wrong? Thank you.

Here are some graphics to show you what my problem is.

Paul.

Hi Paul,

This is the correct behaviour of the HidePt button. It hides the unmasked parts. All you need to do is press Tool>Masking>Inverse to invert the mask before pressing HidePt.

EDIT: Once you have created a mask by pressing the Int button, switch off the texture (select No Texture in the Texture Palette). That way you will be better able to see what’s happening.

HTH,

Hi Marcus.

I knew all about the Inverse button, but always clicked it at the wrong time.

THANK YOU for solving my problem.

Hooroo for now.

Paul.
