im on lesson 6 in this(http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/training.php?vid=5670&autoplay=1) tutorial and have hit a bit of stump and am wondering if you lovely folks could help? im up to around a minute where he wants me to go to the rigging subtool and select a new mesh. once i do that my octopus looks like this:http://i.imgur.com/Oqsdq.jpg . what happened? where did i go wrong and how do i fix this? i noticed i have different brushes too. argh! please help.
You have ‘Ghost’ button turned on (bottom of right shelf). In order to turn it off, turn on ‘Transp’ button just above it then turn ‘Ghost’ button off. The Ghost button allows you to see other subtools without the cursor being affected by them. If you are going to retopoligize that subtool (octopus) then you want Ghost off.
