Heavy Metal Poster

Hi there,

Here’s a MOTU character. I took my time with this one. Getting up to speed with the new ZB updates. It’s now really fun to do hard edged stuff.

Cheers

Si

I like to post my new models here. Good to have a thread to look back on.

Another one for show.

Hi All,

Here I am making a range of superhero figures. I like how the fire turned out.

Atomic_2.jpg

I made this bird for a client. Weird huh ?

RyanBird.jpg

cool your bird.

COOL, very E. Bosch

That bird design bares a striking resemblance to work from Aaron Horkey. Any connection?

Really Weird but I like it!
Nice one!

Hi all,

Thanks for the nice comments. It was nice to do something different for once. Back to making figurines. A set of superheroes. Works so far but
I’m sure there will be changes.

Hi All,

I have made some more toys. A few different art styles this time and I use dynamesh mostly these days.

Enjoy !

Impressive both in quality & quantity, I think you may have violated the laws of thermodynamics or something. Great work! -S

Like them a lot, really good work!

More models from me !!

AMAZING stuff dude, is remarkable how you have improved over time, keep posting :+1:

Thanks very much. I would say that I have defiantly got faster. Now my workflow various from sub-div modeling or just dynameshing everything
and using polygroups. Nobody seems to use projection master or zsheres 2 anymore.

I am setting up a Shapeways shop also.

Cheers

I took a look at your Shapeways shop, and regarding the image previews Shapeways generates I suggest changing the orientation of your models before uploading them. One method is described on this guy’s blog:

http://sidnaique.blogspot.com/2012/07/3d-printing-and-zbrush-02orientation.html

Even though you also include a properly oriented render, the first thing people see is your figures from the bottom (Except for Otto the Autopilot, of course). Changing the default view would give people a better impression of your models, and might even stand out more when they search through Shapeways.

Thanks for the info.I owe you a beer !!

Hello everyone,

I have not posted in a long time but I have still been using Zbrush to make some toys. I hope to get back to doing some nice renders soon !!

Thanks for looking !

I always seem to end up with these retro toy making jobs. Everything has to be 80’s looking.
