Lookin good. What are these for? Are they toys or just for fun/practice?

Hiya Clint, They are toys. I make them for obsessive collectors and the prints are from Shapeways.
Cheers !!

Hi all, I’m taking a break from the MOTU stuff for a while so I did some renders last night.
I used BPR, photoshop and I did the hair in 2.5D with the deco brush.

Those figures look great. What material did you have them printed in?

I think it’s called polyamide. Some kind of white plastic.

Hi All, I have to do a toy head of a young Jane Seymour. I think I have it close
but any help/crits would be great. She’s really hard to do !!

Looks more like a Dragon or Iguana.Another monster.

How I missed this thread?
Excellent, I spent some time and really enjoyed all this beautiful artwork.
:+1:

Weelll Someone eventually needed to do this., good show.

Yo!

I forgot to go over the Jane Seymore model with you. Here’s some feedback… I think the brow is too prominent. Maybe round off the forehead a little, which will help. Go with the profile image you have of her nose. It’s more delicate. And… urm… thin down the bottom lip as it goes towards the corner of the mouth. The corner of the mouth needs to be a bit softer like in the middle image. At the moment it looks more like the top image.

Keep it up.

Michalis: Thanks very much !! I bet you have lots of inspiration in Greece.
Icaba: Thanks mate !! The MOTU fans like it so.
Matt: Can you crit this one ? I have started over. Looks a bit like her/ Amanda Holden. More to do !!
Here is the belt buckle I made. Client just sent me photo’s.

Two things are popping out at me in both this and the last female bust posts. First is that the arch of the maxilla seems to sunken. The whole mass of bone and teeth needs to push that area forward a bit in profile. Second, the lips, the eyebrows specifically are reading too hard/sharp with the creases you have going on. Transitions between lip and the skin should be more gradual. Should me more “plump” in the corners of the mouth. Area is ripe for a little smoothing and inflation/magnify. Anyway, that’s my two bits. Hope it helps.

Hi All,

Loooong time no post. Busy doing things that I can’t show as yet. I keep on making MOTU stuff.
I like to spend only a couple of days on each one and I use dynamesh alot to get the final “one shell” ready for printing.

Cheers
