heavy dynamic subdivision kit bash optimization to other program

hey guys,

this is my first kit bash effort. merged all the subtools in the logo subtool and the punked stuff. currently your seeing only the punked stuff tool. each tool is a about 700k polys.

what’s are some methods of getting this sucker uv’d to generate a normal map to send to another 3d app for render ?

i started to unwrap on on clone and it’s doing saying it’s unrapping the various 2000 islands. is this the way to go about it ?

is sending the tool or obj to a program like “normals” a less taxing way ?

any thoughts on workflow or suggestions in general greatly appreciated.

Why does that need to be unwrapped?
I guess I don’t understand what you’re trying to do.
Just send the mesh to another program, then you don’t need to use any normals maps on it.
