it`s first head in this WIP.
C&C please.criticism is more please.
Its a great start! What you need to do is add more wrinkles and other tiny details that we can see on an old person’s skin. The jaw is too wide by my reckoning. Think you need to revise the part of the jaw near the ears. Focus on getting the wrinkles there.
And the ears need more definition. The upper portion is’nt resolved in the sense that the ears and the skull is too close. Remember, ears are all cartilage and protrude from the skull whereas right now they seem to appear more ‘bony’.
Looks like a good base mesh. My only concern would be that you are concentrating too much on the side view and not keeping frontal proportions to the side accurate. Otherwisw all good.
khalavi thank you very much! I will do everything well.
Joepaddyroe thank you too!

hey people,where your comments.
Hy Rodion , nice start, keep refining your model, and from the side view it looks bit to wide , huge advise use photo ref as much as you cans also get more refe for skin and rinkles it will add more realisme when it well executed. But overall its nice and you will impove alot by doing more of this , your work will pay , just be patient .
Aliasfx thank you! yes I used some pictures and looked works of other people.

this is another head.
Rodion!! My Man!!! How is it going? On the old guy i would give him some side burns. Looks like the hair is in the wrong place. On your new goblin head i would incorporate those designs to other spots and see how it looks. maybe on the back of the head or neck. Great work, keep it up!
DAnconia thank you very much!
here some update’s. I a bit touched up a head and remake hairs.

Hey not bad dude. Your learning fast! Try looking at the eyes shape. Also remember weight. Also your ear is a tad to low. All in all your doing well. Keep scuplting!
Cheers

Seems like everybody who starts with Zbrush does the same mistakes. Let me explain. When I see your models, I get the impression that you barely tweaked the general anatomy of the face and jumped right to higher sub division levels, to add detail. The old guy is a perfect example. You decided to invest more tiem adding the wrinkles and stuff, which is much more fun, rather than focusing on the anatomy. The muscular and bone structures. My advise would be to completly forget about the higher subdivision. Start with the first one, and do NOT, go any higher until it’s perfect. You have to climb your way through, otherwise you will get rather bad results. Also, use as much reference as possible. It helps a lot.
I did exactly the same mistakes, until someone told me! So I hope I helped.
…i agree with norman 3d he has right and i think the ears looks a bit too big!!!
Norman3D thank you very much for advice!
