He is looking better and better, but the reason you are getting so frustrated and bored with him is that his basic proportions are off. If you are going for the standard heroic male then he needs to be taller, his legs need to be longer and his hips need to be waaaaayyy thinner, right now he could plop a baby out of his hips, simple changes mostly in the lowest res of your model will make him look great.
I disagree about the proportions, looks very natural to me. Unless you intend him to be a superhero. Your 12?
