…a quick colour test. Rendered in Zbrush with a simple colour overlay in CS2.

I finally found some time to begin texturing. It is still a work in progress. Lots of seems to cover especially between the hairline and skin.

Trying to get a decent level of SSS happening.

right now youre going overboard with the SSS. the skin shader itself has a long ways to go before looking like skin,right now its very waxy, id mess with your specular maps and settings first. remember, dont blow out the SSS just for the sake of showing people that there is sub surface. a subtle effect is much more powerful and realistic
A point well made rkrehe20 I will take that on board. Thanks for the crits. I should point out that only the last image is using SSS all the rest are just diffuse, spec and bump map.
It has been a long time coming but I have finally made some hair for this old bugger…
