head mapping...Help!

Hi, can anyone help me? why after i give texture to my head with any method, from zapplink to texture from photo ref video tutorial, after i pick up gets totally messed up?
for example,please look at the first pic, its on projection master, and the second pic is what happen after i pick up. Thanks a lot, i really need this for my assignment which is due for tommorrow…:roll_eyes:

have you applied Auv - guv tiling before dropping in pm ?

Whats the resolution of your texture?

Make it 4096 x 4096 to get better results.

and also if you dont need fade option then just switch it off in PM.

Yes, this looks like a problem with UV mapping. If there are any overlapping UV’s, the texture will be applied where you want it – but also where you don’t.

whats the difference anyway? i press guv tiles though ,and it works fine!
But maybe because i have only 256 RAM, everytime i want a new texture of 4096x4096, zbrush always quit, my max is only less than 2000 i guess:D
