I like this last one Ralf,

The skin is only a shader or is with texture?

I love the eyes, so real.

Greetings friend

Thanks ilusiondigital.

And yes you have right, it’s only a shader no texture. I have tweaked the color in Photoshop.

Ralf Stumpf

Ok, I think this is the final one. hope you like it.

Thanks Andreseloy.

hehe funny I did Quark a while ago, I like yours but he almost looks too young.

Well done anyway.

Cool !!
This character hit me particularily !! Nice image:+1:

I was not really happy with the last one. Here ist the update.

I change the form and the texture and I render in passes.

Composing in Photoshop. It’s not quite Quark but it’s definitly a Ferengi.

Hope you like it.

nice improvement on the form stumpf. Good work overall too.

I’m beginning to think more and more that multi-pass rendering is a much better solution to rendering in general. Not only in zbrush but in all apps. It cuts render time, you can make surfaces and scenes as complex as you desire, and you have so much more control over the final image and you’re able to do a lot of minor tweaking in realtime with final frame quality.

Can’t wait to do more experimentation with the technique myself.

anyhoo, I think you’re right. you nailed the Ferengi no doubt, but it’s not quite Quark.

You planning to push it any further or does the buck stop here?

I like your style and render a lot :+1:

yes, superb work, I really love the ‘painterly’ look you’ve achieved, if I didn’t know it was 3d I’d swear it was airbrushed (I’m guessing the eyes, collar and ear-hair were in fact painted?) very vibrant colors, this would be perfect for a star trek collectors card set !! other than that, I’ve always found the ferengi design to be a bit disturbing, but thanks to your great work I’d actually consider a ferengi as desktop wallpaper

joining the Stumpf fan club, beam me up!

Outstanding ST works here, Ralf!!! Your work is smoothed and has that airbrush quality as was stated…I like that…Looks like something right out of a ST technical manual…You trying to give Keith Birdsong and the Okuda’s a run for their money with such quality. Would love to see a few Borg renders and maybe Neelix from you. Your style would do them justice I am sure. Keep up the great work.
creatively yours,
Ron:+1: :sunglasses: :+1:

I think thats all with this guy, but maybe I make an upper body with cloth …maybe.

For next I agree with Ron, a Borg or Jem’Hadar is a good choice.

Ralf Stumpf

Ups, I lose one line.

Thanks abxy, Strannik, Zork and Ron.

Hi all,

I made this bust from a very low cage within ZBrush.
It’s a script series in 17 parts (about 5 hours). I would like to share this bust,
but the parts are to big (between 100k and 500k as zip).
If there is interest maybe it gives a way.

Cheers

Ralf Stumpf
