HD Geometry Export Displacement Map

Hey,

I am still in the process of learning ZBrush, and I am trying to understand displacement maps. Secondly I am trying to create a movie of the form I have detailed in ZBrush using HD Geometry and export it to maya. I have searched the web and haven’t found any tutorials. Does anyone know how to do this?

All you need to do to include HD Geometry in a displacement map is:

  1. Set the Tool>Geometry HD>SculptHD Subdiv slider to its highest level.
  2. Set the Tool>Geometry>SDiv slider to 1.
  3. Generate the dispalecement map.
