HD Geometry Details Won't Export to Displacement Map

I recently imported a base mesh into ZBrush (which has slightly less than 1 million polygons), activated HD Geometry, and increased the HD resolution to about 9 million polygons, then sculpted some fine detail. When I try to export a displacement or normal map, so I can use this detail in external applications, the displacement and normal maps bear no resemblance to the details that I sculpted. (Please see screen shots). Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug? (I’m using ZBrush 4R7, P3, on a Mac., OS 10.10).

Well, it looks like you have overlapping UVs. If you’ve used UV tiles, try using the Multi Map Exporter to see if you get better results. Otherwise you might want to create new UVs using UV Master.
