I took the zbrush troll off the website and generated a normal map off of it. I flipped vertical, and i used the “object space normal high quality” for maya preset. I brought the lowest level mesh into maya and then applied it in object mode. It lays out correctly, but for a lack of a better word it looks like junk. Someparts are tor raised, some parts arent etc. Help please!!!
try and put the normal map in the ZMapper on tangent space. then in Maya use tangent space. see if you get something better off that.
