Have an urgent problem with "Zproject" or "Move"

Hello;

Have an urgent problem with Zproject or “Move”
I wanted to texture a sphere with a texture that I placed in a plane using Zproject so when I make the move to determine the target area and the area to texture and then back on Draw to texture, the Zprojecte does nothing,it only works if I bring my sphere on the plane textured .
But i see in different tutorial that the “move” work like the stamp in photoshop and it doesn’t work
I thought that maybe i need a configuration of the tool “Move” but as I began to Zbrush I do not which is.
I’m using Zbrush 4 and 7 Win

So if anyone can help me solve these problems it would be nice

  • Handling run to try to repair uninstalling and installing Zbrush without success

In ZBrush 4 the ZProject brush works differently. It is no longer necessary to drag an action line to pick the areas for use with the ZProject brush. Simply place the model directly over the image.

An alternative method is to use Spotlight to paint from a photo directly onto your model. To learn more about Spotlight see here:

Thank’s a lot Marcus for your help and happy new years merry Christmas :wink:

Hi marcus- You say that this is no longer neccesary- but has it been completely removed?

i am trying to clone poly paint information one subtool to another and i’d rather not have to move one to line it up under the other- is there no way to copy this information without moving the subtool? it seems like a strange thing to remove such a useful option, a step backward if you will.

martinmcghee,

You will have to move the subtools so that they are aligned.
