I’ve been working on Harry for about a week now, hopefully he isn’t killed off in the book, Im planning on aging him a bit, going for a older look for Harry.
Any crits would be welcome.

Ok, got rid of the mullet. You never know it might come back in a couple of years 
I just finihsed the book so I’m back with another update.
To my mind the face and especially the cheecks and the sides of his forehead are to bright. And he also lacks shadows which would add much to the realism and give his hair volume.
There is much to improve and to learn for you, as for me either.
Hope my work won’t be much worser then yours,
when it is done

Thanks for the feedback Kaiton, yes it is a bit bright at the moment see what i can do.
The hair is maya fur driven by hair curves. Its a bit of a pain in the as* to configure but works ok.
Another update, created a spec map in z brush and touched up the colour a little. Also added shading to the hair.
