This may sound like a stupid question, but here it goes anyway…
Yesterday I downloaded both trial version for Zbrush and modo and I been fiddling around with both programs. What I have seen so far is that Zbrush is excellent for easy and fast creation of organic models, meanwhile, modo has a terrific renderer but the modeling process is more into the “classic” approach of selecting mesh elements and tweaking them around.
This classis approach to modeling makes the creation of technical/hard surfaces stuff relatively easy, but after playing with Zbrush I wish I could use its power for this same kind of modeling for hard surface stuff. Is this possible on Zbrush? Am I missing something? As I said, this is my second day looking at both packages.
