In Hands Trap, I explore the inescapable architecture of psychological confinement, where the human form becomes both prisoner and gaoler.
The multitude of hands embodies intrusive thoughts, societal pressures, and the relentless burden of self-perception, each grasp tightening upon identity itself.
My sculptural language favours anatomical distortion and visceral texture, transforming emotional distress into a tangible corporeal presence.
Through this work, I seek to expose the fragile boundary between external oppression and the inner turmoil that ultimately consumes the human spirit.
