HALO, ODST cinematics

A model i did a while back, my last gig at cafeFX before moving up north to tippett. i finally have the time to show. hope you like it.
this is for the halo 3 ODST game cinematic which i was the model, texture lead on. was very very rushed but i think it turned out ok.

modeled, textured in maya, zbrush, mudbox, rendered in mental ray with shave and haircut for fur.

megacool love Halo anything lol, this is really inspiring, thanks for sharing.

Great work! I saw so many cool Halo characters in the past months. I really should start to play this game!

This character was created for the Unused Cinematics for a game called legendary, This wolf was difficult because i was not allowed to change the poly count, OR the broad shapes too much as the model had to work on the same rig as the in-game model. This didnt allow me to do as broad of changes as i would have liked to. even the teeth were modeled into the base mesh. as were the eyes, tongue. You can see the base mesh i was given here. This was all shot on the red one camera with digital creatures added, it was not used because “it didnt look like the game” anyways click here to see the animation The rigging didnt allow for shapes fixes, or sculpt deformers, muscles since its the ingame rig. so theres some wonky defomations…

the animation is done by my good friend Joe Hoback from Rhythm & Hues, and the lighting by Akira Orikasa from ILM, both great guys who are the reason this all worked out. :) ![legendaryWolf2.jpg|540x443](upload://aMMYdE25natZUHf5m8BbkTNeWSj.jpeg) [here to see the animation](http://warproductions.com/portfolio_legendary.html) Miguel

Wow. The werewolf turned out great considering all the limitations. Any chance of seeing the halo character in colour?
