Do a search here at ZBC for “hairs”. (Search terms must be 5 characters or more.) You’ll get a ton of results, with several different ways of doing it.
I gotta be honest. I never have as much success with the search engine as you seem to boast. While the search engine is powerful, it’s still very difficult finding SPECIFIC advice amongst all of the threads that come up. Searching “hairs” in the main zbc search yeilds this thread first, then a thousand wip threads and off topic stuff. There is always info to be found, but you end up doing a TON of digging. Searching “hairs” in the tutorial forum yields 4 results, only one of which is a 2.5d hair tutorial that’s not useful for modeling.
I’ve had this problem almost every time I search for something specific. Last night I searched for tutorials on rendering in zbrush. With so many rendering externally, it was hopeless with all of the pipeline threads that came up.
I would love to read through some good hair modeling tutorials. Maybe I’m searching in the wrong places. Any advice? Thanx in advance.
