Hair, eyelashes, brows, etc, how?

Hey Guys,

This is really a 2-part question…as I’m looking for both hair-simulation in maya and also creating fine hairs in zbrush.

I’m wondering what’s the best way/tool/plugin to add hair, eyelashes, brows, etc to my characters for a more final look (zbursh/Maya workflow).

I know I can scuplt the hair also…head is easy, but eyelashes, etc…what tools? (the “How” I can figure out myself)

Thanks for any info

I’m hoping Zbrush will create a hair plug-in or something within the next upgrade of the software to make fine realistic hair. This would be nice to not have to use other software to create it. Pixologic, please consider it.

I prefer using maya hair and convert them into polys, import exported obj in Zbrush and use move, movetopo, inflat etc. brushes for create final hair style.
for eyelashes or brows You may use fiber material

@Brothabling: Yes that would be a GREAT addition to zbrush!!

@b2przemo: Nice model! Thanks for sharing that workflow concept. It’s very interesting and I definitely have to try it! I’ll have to check more into the fiber things in zbrush.

side-note: I’ve done all the old-school alpha eyelashes, etc in the past, but it really only allows for a certain level of realism.
