GUV Tiles

Just so you know I did search this topic, and found a lot to sift through. Now I might have missed it, but I spent the better part of a day trying different things that I had read on the forums. Big ups to any that can help.

So I have an item that has basic planar UV’s from max. (just to be able to have different polygroups on one object) Sculpted in Z4, then, trying to get a diffuse map to export, I run GUV tiles and get a page full of tiny cubes. I figure what the hell, I feed it into Xnormal, and get the same results…tiny cubes fit into my uv’s. I havent done this a bunch before, usually I create the diffuse in Photoshop on a layer, but I did a good joob painting this, and want to use what I’ve done.

Downloaded UV master and got some uv’s , but without the material. Kinda looks like an Black and White diffuse map. Wheres my silver foil material? This is the map Zbrush is spitting out…map.jpg

forgot to flip the texture before export…kinds dumb that I have to remember to do that…
