Great idea for UV texturing plugin

I think a great idea for a UV texturing plugin would be one that allows you to select certain polys that you want to texture (they must all be connected) and then the plugin flattens out those polys, and creates a map for you to take into Photoshop. It obviously remembers where the map should be located, so when you have finished painting, you can simply save the map and the plugin will automatically update those polys with the new texture on them.

What would be really cool is a split screen feature, where you have a Paint Select Polys tool similar to the one in Maya, and you paint your polys, click a button, the plugin flattens out the selected polys, opens up Photoshop (or another paint program) on the other panel in this split screen display, and as your interactively paint on the 2d Texture, the 3d model is updated in real time.

You could also select painted polys multiple times for different maps, so you could overlap and create seamless looking textures.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Nevermind. I just need to get Deep Paint 3D
