Graphic tablet for Zbrush?

Hi everyone!
I want ask about a graphic tablet recommendation for Zbrush.
After short search on Amazon i’ve got this 4 Wacom boards:

a)Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch, CTH-460-DE 77€
b)Wacom Bamboo Pen only, CTL-460-DE 53€
c)Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch (Medium), CTH-661-DE 166€
d)Wacom Intuos 4 S A6 wide 203€

What would be the best choise ? Is there better solutions then wacom tablets?

well, thx for help.
going to find it elsewhere then…

There’s not much to say, it’s just a matter of budget. The Intuos is the gold standard in tablets. The Bamboo is fine, though I really don’t think the multitouch functions are worth the premium. I’ve used someone else’s Pen & Touch in Photoshop and had no complaints.

Bells and whistles are nice but I used a serial first-gen Intuos for years and years without complaint. Get what your budget can justify.

Thx for answer @ InternetFried!
Well, the budget shouldn’t go over 200€, thats the price of Intuos4 A6.
But the thing is: its A6 size! Isnt it too small for Zbrush? Dont you think Fun Pen & Touch CTH-661-DE (A5 size afaik) would be a better solution?

I don’t think it’s too small. The more important thing is the 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity.

I wouldn’t worry about the size, it’ll feel awkward for awhile with either tablet then your brain just learns to adapt. I know the Intuos hasa Precision Mode button, when you hold it down it maps the tablet to an area around the current cursor position, making your stroke less magnified. (edit: maybe you can map this to a stylus button for the Bamboo?) In ZBrush you’ve also got Lazy Mouse to help you make accurate strokes.

Intous 3 or 4 med to xl works great. I have a intous 4 large works on any program besides zbrush4 maya photoshop 3dsmax muudbox etc. comes with a wireless pen and mouse u use ont he tablet and many functions for any program.

When I’m away from my normal workspace, I sometimes use a
Bamboo Pen. Originally, I bought a Pen and Touch, but I had problems with it. I reasoned that the Pen might be simpler and, therefore, more reliable. That choice made sense given that the touch features were not particularly appealing to me. I had better luck with the Pen than with the Pen and Touch. That may have just been a fluke, but that has been my experience.
